I'm a building contractor who works mostly in one area. I want relatively up to date radar loops without having to burn battery by having to turn on gps and wifi. Radar Now is good, but battery hog. Any suggestions?

I'd like to see an hourly temperature forecast for a diffault city in an app. Any of these have it?

FYI - The Weather Channel does have radar loop - touch the arrow (play) button right under the map (if radar, radar/clouds, or clouds map layer is selected)

Weather Channel is my favorite. I don't like weather bug because it constantly refreshes based on your location. For this to happen, it uses the GPS which is not exactly kind to the battery. Anyway, Weather Channel is clean and cut for me.

I have done a personal test of the most popular 10 weather apps as well and came to the conclusion that Weatherbug is probably the best one (although it needs to change it's refresh-rate) for the average user (not consumer). It has long enough forecast, knows all my cities (even weird ones), has a nice UI AND a website (which you overlooked) http://weather.weatherbug.com/ (that ad that you mentioned brings you to it ;) )

Also, Moxier World has a lot of potential!
