I have a BlackBerry and I use the google sync app for BlackBerry. It syncs all of my contacts and my calendar with gmail contacts and google calendar. I think when (or if) I move to the G1 I should just be able to sync with google and be all good. Much easier than messing with Outlook and .csv files. In a way, you could say that with the google sync app, google is preparing BlackBerry users for moving to Android!

Yes, I agree. Its a good product that I tested briefly before deciding to simply move from Outlook to the Gmail interface. If a person wants to synchronize, CompanionLink seemed to be one of the best.

My personal favorite is the commercial CompanionLink to sync contacts from Outlook to Gmail. Even though I have Touchdown to access my Exchange server on the road, it's nice to have the contacts into Gmail for syncing back down and directly accessible from the phone dialer and for my regular daily Gmail work through the traditional web interface.
