I like sim games so I thought I would download this one. What absolute trash. Does almost nothing. BORING!

If you had sims 3 on your phone it was a j2me which was not made for android but dumb phones that run java mobile. They have not made a version for android yet. To get that to work you need to have some kind of bridge. theres some out there on the market. do a Google search for running java apps on android. I recommend the HTC app. You can find it on xda.

That was probably the java version made for any java enable phone. They have not released one just for android.

I got sims 3 on my phone then the 1.6 donut downloaded to my phone and now sims don’t work. Any suggestions?

In what seems to be an extremely low key release for the Android platform, you can find The Sims 3 listed at HandMark (and only HandMark) for $7.99 (http://store.handmark.com/p/124778/Android/The-Sims-3-for-Android/HTC-G1). Oddly enough though, there is no mention of this Android release on the EA Mobile website (http://www.eamobile.com). That being said… You be the judge, I’m too wary to spend my eight bucks to check it out.

This is not the same as the “Mobile” version. There aren’t any screen shots out yet so I am not sure where you got your sources.

Ugh its pretty terrible compared to the iPhone version. 2D sprites etc…
