Two weeks ago, we asked you to share your home screen with us and the submissions keep coming in. I gathered all the images and uploaded them to our Flickr page. Browse through the submissions and leave comments if you have any questions how they were created. Most of them have notes describing the theme and widgets installed if you would like to experiment with your phone.
The Winners
Thank you to everyone who made a submission. If you were not picked this week, you are still eligible for week 3 of the contest. If you would like to submit additional screenshots, feel free to do so on the original contest page. I updated the rules so make sure you read them.
- Get organized – Submitted by Craig Simpson
- Barbara for the win – Submitted by Brandon Konkle
- Back to back – Submitted by Android.Newb
- Write some sweet code – Submitted by Rob
- Zero to sixty – Submitted by Firehawk
Winners were selected randomly. Emails will be sent out shorty to confirm your address and country. I can’t wait to see what new entries we have next week. We will accept any type of home screen as a winner. Even the most plain home screen has a chance to win.
If you would like to enter the contest, visit the original post: Show me your Android home screen

I’m liking that countdown thing on Sweet Code, is that a Hero widget, or can we mere mortal Dudes make use of it as well?
Not sure what widget that is. I will ask him when he responds to my email.
Yes, it’s part of the “new” leaked Rosie setup from the second go around. It’s included in all of JAC’s >2 releases.
You can also find a less elegant copy of the widget in the market, search for digital clock. The icon gives it away.
@Foebea: it is written in the comment: it is a JAC porting of the Hero Theme, but it is working only on G1 aka Dream (If i remember correctly).
There’s also an other ROM for MyTouch / G2 / Magic , with multitouch, flash support and all the widgets on the real Hero ROM made by Nk02 and Fatal1ty.. have a look on XDA!
