Android Market doesn’t permit developers from my country to sell app. From what I understand the only chance to make some profit is to place ads in my application.

I’ve been playing Retro Defense pretty much non stop for a week. It was $4.99 when I bought it (listed at 2.99 here?). Well worth it though.

Because androidstats.com uses the same broken “popularity” model that the Market uses. If I recall correctly, androidstats,com uses the Cyrket RSS feed to determine ranking – and Cyrket pulls the same listings in the same order as the Market (where popularity is determined by downloads only, and not by active installations).

Why not use androidstats.com?

The only problem with this is that it has some US only apps on it like my backup pro wouldn’t it b better with Apps that are global….just an idea
