Vodafone, the second largest mobile telecom group in the world behind China Mobile, is set to launch the HTC Tattoo next month. This Android phone is unique because it features a 2.8″ QVGA display and a FM radio. No price point or launch date have been announced, but Vodafone customers can sign up for email alerts on their site.
The coolest feature of the HTC Tattoo is the face plates that can be exchanged by the user. The entire outer casing can be removed and replaced with a custom designed one. Noah from PhoneDog got his hands on the Tattoo and demonstrates the interchangeable face plates.
There is no word of a United States launch, but hopefully this phone gets picked up. If the device is as cheap as rumors suggest, it could be one of the first sub $100 phones for American consumers.
