Verizon to unveil Motorola Tao next week

TheStreet.com is reporting that Verizon will finally unveil the Motorola Tao (Sholes) next week. This coincides with the CTIA show in San Diego that we will be attending. Motorola had previously said they would be making an announcement in the coming weeks and is also holding their Motodev Summit in San Diego to coincide with CTIA.

We reported this week in our rumor report that more developers units of the Tao/Sholes were rolling out and it appears this was true. Someone over at HowardForums got his hand on a sample unit and posted some pics.

Another weird tip just came in related to Motorola. I was talking with one of our friends from Moto and he happened to mention that the Android 1.6 video we posted last week actually featured one of Moto’s phones. Pay special attention to the speed of the phone because the videos are in real time. You can also see a silver lining around the display which is not something found on either HTC phone that is currently available.
