Not to get all political, but what government-studies/poli-sci curriculum suggested that socialism, communism, and democratic are in any way the same?

First of, the U.S currently DOES HAVE a democratic government. Capitalism and democracy are in no way mutually exclusive. In fact, we make it our mission to spread the gospel of democracy.

Sigh – As for the phone. I hope the China release will allow Dell to flush out all of the hardware problems that I am sure it will have. I’ve owned Dell computers for 7 years now. Not due to their quality, but due to my good credit with them . I am not sure how much I trust them to enter the phone market – especially when one looks at what happened to their PDA. Alas, I may end up owning one anyway, mainly because of the ease of purchasing it using my dell account.
