Rock out to KISS with the new Ustream viewer

Ustream recently launched their broadcaster app for Android and now they have their beta viewer out. The free Ustream Viewer for Android enables you to watch live and recorded Ustream shows from your Android device while on the go.

I’ve had the chance to test it out and let’s just say the “beta” label if very fitting. Coincidentally, KISS will be hosting a live concert on Ustream tonight at 7 PM PST. I’m not exactly a huge KISS fan, but it is an interesting concept to broadcast live concerts directly to your pocket. It should be interesting if they can pull it off, but expect bugs (and frustration) when using the Android client.

App is an excellent start. Yeah, it’s laggy and fails a lot but it has potential. Plus, it allows you to watch every recorded video and live show on the site. Here’s hoping a justin.tv app comes out soon.

It would be great if you had a link to download in the article. I could not find the app on Upstream’s site nor in the market
