Introducing the Android Events Calendar

Several of your favorite Android sites are joining forces to present the Android Events Calendar. We plan to list all the latest Android-related podcasts, trade shows, developer conferences, meetups, product launches, and noteable application release dates.

We chose to use Google Calendar so anyone with an Android device can subscribe and get updates. Users can also take the calendar and embed it on their site to share it with their readers.

Click the + button to subscribe to the calendar.

After you subscribe to the calendar, make sure it is synced with your Android phone. Just open Calendar and hit Menu to see My Calendars. Add the Calendar widget to your homes creen to to get the latest updates.

If you would like to add your event to the calendar, leave a comment on our calendar page. Feel free to contact any of the following sites as they all have access to add and edit events.

Any Android related site that would like to participate in adding events, please contact us and we will consider adding you to the list.

    Cool idea. Hey sorry to hijack the thread but whats the nice widget-bar on the screenshot that lets you quickly toggle the different wireless controls? I think me needs that widget!

      It is called “power control”. It was included as part of the Android 1.6 update. If you have a phone with Android 1.5, you are unable to get this widget.
