I would suggest waiting, just in case some of the HTC phones reported a little bit ago come to T-Mobile (who wouldn’t want the Bravo?)

I think I’ll be the proud owner of a myTouch 3g in January…the Cliq was fun before the bugs and no assurance of an android os update. Now every improvement that has anything with android doesn’t seem compatible with the Cliq and motorola customer service might be worst I’ve ever had to deal with….oh, well…

The CLIQ rumor came from an inside source with Moto. Other handset makers like HTC and Samsung have publicly stated they will update older devices to Android 2.0 while Motorola has remained quiet.

It is irresponsible to report rumors. No one knows if the Cliq will be updated to 2.0 so to report a rumor over and over is plain stupid

That’s completely rediculous that the cliq can’t be upgraded to 1.6 or 2.0. Kinda makes me regret buying this over the mytouch. Is anyone getting close rooting the cliq??

this whole Firmware issue with 1.5 and 1.6 and 2.0 is the most ridiculous unfair problem ive ever seen with cell phones. OTHER than the iphone just now being able to send and receive picture messages [lmfao]
