This is indicative of nothing. All the other phones have been out for a while now and users have pretty much downloaded most of whatever they wanted by now, Droid is new, users just figuring out what it can do and how to use it, and as others have stated, it’s most likely the phone given for gifts this christmas. This whole thing is essentially just Droid propaganda.

I never run out of space thanks to cyanonegn. I have over 200 apps and my g1 still smooth as silk. Rooting has big advantages, but I guess is “not for everyone”

Honestly, I think it’s the Keyboard and 2.0 combo. doesent the Droid come with at 16 Gig memory card. I am still kind of pissed that NESOID and GENESOID dont work on mytouch !

Its because they got the phone for Christmas!

That’s a meaningless grid. Show us the same info for total ownership in 6 months. Downloads on a given day are useless.

I’d venture a guess that it is directly related to the number of gifted phones this Christmas and not anything to do with Droid itself. I’d just say that more Droid devices were given as gifts than other devices.

I guess more people got a Droid, instead of a G1, myTouch or Hero.

Of course the G1 comes in last! Our tiny ROM’s are already full. We gots no room for the latest apps!! :-(
