Have downloaded app on my archos 5 internet tablet,
First impressions looks good,found artists quite quick.
Tried to purchase album,wouldnt let me signe in??
Force closed..will give time to develope..

I think the amazon mp3 store is quite alright, actually. Mostly use it through Pandora, when a cool song comes up that I want to buy.
Gonna give this a try though.

Regardless of how you feel about AmazonMP3, you have to admit this headline is just wrong. It’s not the first music store. That being said, I’m still going to check it out.

Nice, but why? I’ve been an Amazon customer since they opened their virtual doors. When I got my first iPod, I made the mistake buying my MP3s from iTunes. Now I have a bunch of 128-bit protected AAC files that I need to “upgrade” Plus Apple has the balls to charge me an extra $.30 to upgrade each track.

I only buy my MP3s from Amazon. In fact I buy almost everything from Amazon. I’ve already purchased a few new tunes using the Amazon MP3 app on my Droid and it works flawlessly. Why should I submit my personal and financial info to yet another website? Somone please convince me.

this seams like a got idea in the future but i think they should bring la la or rhapsody or some subscription music company built into the phone.

No one likes Amazon MP3? What’s the basis? I buy virtually all my music there, in non-DRM MP3 format. It’s got the fewest restrictions of any music store and it’s got an Android client that’s built into every device. It’s not perfect but it’s miles ahead of anything else.

It is this UK only?

Not too impressive – at least so far. It seems laggy, and forceclosed.

Will give it a chance to mature, but if this is a UK/EU only affair they need to spell that out.

The app I downloaded from the website showed the prices in pounds sterling, which seems as though they have internationalization figured out, but I don’t know for sure.
