They release older os’s for the people that want to tinker with it or w/e. At least from what i’ve heard.

AT&T will most likely get it since TMO already has the CLIQ.

AT&T is the only carrier that doesn’t have a Android phone yet. So its a good marketing strategy for them to get one for the folks that are sick of the iphone or dont want one.

Personally i think this is a flop and a step backwards Motoblur is for the twitter, myspace, ect kids really. And the Back facing keyboard is going to be a nightmare for dust and the likes.

Its a shame they put the MotoBlur on the cliq which i find better feeling and looking then the stupid DROID.

Hi all. I actually had this in my hand 3 weekends ago. I a friend of mine, in the MidWest has been a tester of the Motus for a while now.

It feels great in the hands, though plastic, not metal.
the Keys are nicely domed, and BRIGHTLY illuminated.
The screen is fine.
The back panel touch pad was odd at first, but I could see it being used by people. Neither of us saw the point though.

I liked the keyboard FAR more than my own Droid.
It’s bigger, and (key) centered correctly on the device.

I’d own it, given the chance.

this design has its place, but it’s way too kitschy and out there to be made a high end phone, motorola should stick to their strategy of bringing android to the masses through affordable handsets, sure they won’t get as much hype as the droid gets but it’s a solid strategy and they don’t risk major failure

I guess this could be cool if they really integrated it well with gestures, but in reality i think it will be a gimmicky add-on at best, but if google stepped in and helped them like they did with the droid then this phone could possibly be a high end success

I don’t like it. Honestly, the size and the thickness don’t matter. But screen size, Android model (please get with 2.0! 1.5 is OLD now.. for God’s sake, atleast 1.6?) efficiency in keyboard (both whatever skinned virtual or physical) and speed is important.

If this can deliver what I ask, it might be a win (for T-Mobile) and a competitor to the iPhone (but AT&T won’t risk it, now would they?)

Can’t say I am/would be sad if T-Mobile passes on this…Passion is another story but the signs look good there =)

This phone really looks like its going to break every time you flip that keyboard out. this is really a phone you need a hands on review with, and i really hope we can get one.

off subject, im having a really hard time logging into the website. it like auto logs me out. i even reset my password and its stilll doing it.
