Still no ‘official’ word from HTC or Verizon on the 2.1 update for Eris. The reps at Verizon kept eluding to sometime in April, but nothing has been confirmed. Read more here: http://eugeneorourke.com/blog/droid-eris-release-date-update/

Well greenteagod looks like it’s the last month of q1 and wow verizon is focusing on a different phone than the update so go suck off htc more and realize you will be wrong as I said before. Nice fa dude

Ok I am new at this Droid as well and I would like to know if the upgrade is going to be over the air or do i hjave to go into settings and see if the update is avalible manually…Like I do for the apps?

Well htc actually fails at life for spreading a rumor about this. I’m seriously tempted to throw my eris through a wall because of it’s shitastic loading speed. And now they try to get our hopes up with four different update release data and still fail to send it out. I now regret not getting the moto droid and htc is a banned phone within my household permenantly.
