According to the specs in the previous link it does not speak the 3G frequencies of US carriers, especially AT&T that almost no Android phones speak that I know of with the exception of maybe the Acer Liquid a1 (s100). (If I am wrong here, please send me a note :) I need a phone for Europe for the most part but I am going to spend quite a bit of time in the US and will get on a relative’s AT&T plan. I need a phone. And it looks like once again, this will not be it no matter how much I love it based on all other specs.

I AGree with tony multitouch is pointless for me. i actually prefer a zoom in and zoom out button. i mean it just seems easier to use one finger instead of two. who was the genius that let apple patent anything on a touch phone?

It has Sense UI *hmpf* My next phone still will be the Nexus One, because iDon’t want to hack my phone to get a pure Android OS with Slidescreen. (o:

The rumor is 320 MB RAM, but nothing is official. Maybe it will get bumped up to 512 MB RAM like the Nexus One.

The reason why pinchzoom is always mentioned, is part because a lot of people DO use and love it, and part because Google has yet to make any clear statement regarding multitouch.
So, as long as they keep saying things like; “its still being looked at”, people will keep questioning the lack of multitouch.

Is this still coming with only 320mb RAM?

Question for me is, will the benefit of Sense UI outweigh the knowledge that updates to Android will be implemented immediately on the Nexus?

Why is everyone so bothered about mutlitouch, its a gimmick anyway and I much prefer double tap to zoom in the eclair browser.

Multitouch is probably the only feature added by having a rooted phone that I never ever use. I’m sick of reading about the fact a phone has or doesn’t have it as being a big deal because it isn’t at all. Isnt the reason its not in the default android OS is that google don’t want to pay Apple which imo is fine because Apple should never have been allowed to patent something like MT in the first place.
