Google held a series of Android labs last year to give devs an early look at upcoming hardware and provide an update on the state of the Android platform. It appears they were well received because Google just announced a new world tour that will cover 15 cities.
Check the list of cities below and sign up now because seating is limited. The first event is in our backyard (Austin, TX) and we plan to attend. Please let us know if you will be at the Austin lab and we can meetup.
For a list of other mobile gatherings, don’t forget to subscribe to the Android Events Calendar. I’m currently in the process of adding all these new labs to the schedule.
From Google: Our Android Advocates are going on a world tour, traveling to locations all around the globe! Hear about the state of the Android platform, get hands-on with the latest version of the SDK, meet like-minded Android engineers, play with the latest Android devices, test your apps, and ask your questions directly to Android team members.
