I definitely agree with missing the long press menu interface from Twidroid. I think it makes the entire experience much more touch friendly.

I've only tried the free versions of TwiDroid and TweetCaster (I've only had my first Android phone (Nexus One) for two weeks), and both of those apps are a bit lacking in some regards.

I'm going to give Seesmic a try just because of the enthusiasm of the developer in the linked video, if for no other reason.

Nice upgrade and I'll say Seesmic is on par with Twidroid. Both are good choices now but neither is perfect. Twidroid wins with feature and ease of use, while Seesmic has rather good user support.

Long click/touch on any Twidroid's tweet, out comes a menu with *all* choices for the tweet, like RT (both choices), share, reply, visit links etc. The entire application has very consistent interface in such a manner. Themes and dark background is a good plus. However, Twidroid has a non-existence support channel and nothing is answered, even for a paid user. Big negative there.

Seesmic has a nice interface that is fast. However, interfacing is very inconsistent and one needs to click to view a tweet window to access "features" such as retweet or share, etc. Some of these functions are on screen, while others are in a hidden menu. On the plus side, Seesmic has responsive support for free users via Twitter and email.

Overall, good development on both clients and the choice for users will be highly personal based on usage habits.

FINALLY! All I needed was Auto capitalization and Remember scroll position. Those were the two things that drove me nuts!!! I like to appear educated by capitalization of the beginning of a sentence. Also I don't like reading my timeline backwards. I only have one account, but I agree that all Twitter clients should support multiple accounts. Great job Seesmic! Now the Number One Twitter client!!
