I have the behold 2 as well and I like it just fine, stop talking crap about this phone. It looks slick in its black shell and the amoled screen is very nice, as for touch wiz, its fine and in some regards I like it over open home, however I use open home at the moment, the only thing this phone needs is 2.1 update. otherwise stop whining about how bad this phone is, cause its not bad at all.

Exactly! If some of these impatient Behold 2 bashers would take the time to use the market as it was intended they would find that once customized this device is exceptional.

My main draws were the camera flash, hardware buttons and AMOLED screen. After adding Open Home with personal touches and productivity additions/removals this device became damn near perfect for me.

Sure, the cube is gimmicky and touchwiz is odd but even stock the Behold 2 is pretty good. Hopefully we get an official 2.0 or 2.1 update, I won't risk bricking my phone with custom roms.

Wow, all this bashing with nothing substantial to back it up. Aside from the N1 and Droid, the BH2 is by far the best Android phone available.

The only thing that sucks about it is the TouchWiz interface. It is a mess. Laggy and ugly. Simple solution. Find a home replacement, such as Open Home which brings it back to the original looking Android interface. And it takes away the lag by disabling TouchWiz. Problem solved.

It will be running on 2.1 sooner or later, and when it does, it will put a lot of phones to shame. It has great hardware and a lot of potential.

Unless I'm misreading T-Mo's pricing chart this thing is going for $149, if they can spend thousands of dollars on the plan over the next couple years then I'd wager they can afford the extra $30 bucks for the Nexus One.

All bets are off if we are talking non-upgrade pricing.

Samsung has been lackadaisical and half-hearted in their attitude towards Android no wonder their sales for the Behold 2 has been very disappointing-what were they expecting.

Verizon were no fools when they plunged millions into promoting the Droid. And it did pay in the end.

I don't think the behold is a bad phone it just needs more pubicity

Wake up samsung.

This phone is a great phone I had it and only got rid of it for the N1 I still miss it for its camera which is way better then the N1 if you dont like the touch wiz dont use it remember its an android and you can find home replacement apps I really didnt think it was that bad I am just used to the normal set-up since I had a g1 before this phone.I also bought the Cliq and returned it within the 14 day period. It never ran slow for me a few apps had some forced close issues with it but so do some on the N1.
