This is stupid for Skype to be exclusive to one carrier. I’m on T-Mobile and while I have a contract with them and there are few cell carrier choices the same cannot be said for sip carriers. A simple sip app later and I can easily justify ditching my Skype account because they want to punish me for not being on their chosen wireless provider. Glad Skype can do without my business.

think its great to see this, did ya see the burn by them to iphone yes! i think this is better than nimbuzz cause some just want one program for skype, not one for skype, facebook, aim etc!

Well I just hope they put this on the Market for all non-US users.

It’s interesting that Verizon, of all networks, is the one to do this.

Wow, amazing! Except wait, I can already make skype calls using Nimbuzz from the market.
