Android Meetup tonite in Austin – Stupid Android Tricks

Fire up those phones and dig deep into your bag of tricks because tonite at Opal Divine’s on 6th St at 7pm we’ve got a special meetup planned. The Austin Android Users Group will be gathering to show off all their stupid Android tricks. It seems like every few days I learn something new about my device and we thought this would be a perfect opportunity to show off what you like most about Android.

I’ll be there to demo using a Wiimote via bluetooth as the most awesome mobile game controller ever. I’ll also be showing how I upload photos from my Canon DSLR stright to Flickr using only an Eye-Fi card and my Nexus one.

Anyone who has something to share is welcome to come and give the group a quick demo. To encourage those brave enough to attempt a live tech demo, we’ll be giving out exploded Andy tees to anyone who shares something with the group.

So come join us at Opal Divine’s (map) on 6th St at 7pm for an Android nerdfest of epically stupid proportions. Learn something new, share something for a free tee- everybody wins!

For updates about tonite or future meetups, join the mailing list or follow the AAUG twitter account.
