We got some solid details on the Motorola Stingray/Everest/Motopad when Andy Rubin took the stage with it earlier this week, but he didn’t fill in all the puzzle pieces for us and today a few more are being slotted into place courtesy of a reported hands on with the device.
We can’t really confirm the authenticity of these specs, but they certainly seem plausible enough and the spy shot you see above lends credence to his story.
- 7 and 10 inch models
- 1280 x 800 WXGA resolution
- 32 GB Storage
- nVIDIA Tegra 2 T20 dual-core processor
- Gyroscope
- 5 MP rear camera
- 2 MP front camera
- UMTS, CDMA and LTE Models
Beyond the specs he gave a few glowing and entertaining impressions (possible due in part to Google translate) which included “Super; really super” and “iPad instant you feel like a toy or something, like plates.”
I think the most interesting news here is the existence of 7 and 10 inch models. After spending some time with the Galaxy Tab and the iPad, I favor the 7 inch form factor as my use cases for a tablet simply don’t require a larger screen.Given the option which would you choose and what are the primary uses for a tablet that steer you in that direction?
