Now that HTC has delivered Android 2.2 for the Legend, most of you are probably wondering what new features are included with the update. Since the HTC Legend is coated with HTC Sense, many of the new features are a bit hard to spot. HTC has not released an official list of new features, but with a bit of searching on YouTube we were able to find two videos which gives us a little peak of what’s inside the Android 2.2 build for the Legend.
The first video is a quick walk-through of Android 2.2 on the HTC Legend, while the second video shows how Legend’s Android 2.2 stands up to Android 2.1 in a Quadrant benchmark showdown. With a Quadrant score of 853, the HTC Legend won’t be breaking any performance records, but it’s nice to see the numbers jump over 140% over the previous Android 2.1 build.
Note: If the OTA update has not hit your HTC Legend, go to Settings > About phone > System software updates and hit the Check now button.
