Developers get their hands on the HTC Sensation system dump

If you’re the type who likes to tinker with leaked ROMs, you’ll certainly be excited to hear that an HTC Sensation system dump is now floating around the web. The HTC Sensation system dump is about 580MB and contains all those sweet HTC Sense 3.0 goodies that HTC doesn’t want to share with its older handsets.

As you’re reading this, developers are already pondering how exactly they will be able to port the HTC Sensation’s system dump to other HTC handsets. Unfortunately, there are a handful issues (system size and qHD resolution just to name a few) they will need to overcome in order to successfully create a working ROM. It may sound like a daunting task, but we’ve seen some pretty amazing things come out of XDA-Developers over the past few year.

For now, we suggest you take a quick peek at the wallpapers (download them all here) which have been ripped from the HTC Sensation.

I’ll start by first saying I love articles like this and I love reading about all things android! That said, does anyone bother to proofread anymore? It’s getting harder and harder everyday to read these android articles because of the misplaced words and typos! Nothing against you personally Nick.

We just got the GingerSense for the G2, and now we get GingerSense 3.0 rolling out soon. Those Dev’s are hard at work already. We owe them all a round of thanks for all they do.

Android life just gets better & better.

Now, if only we could see some of this GingerSense action on non-HTC phones, we would be doing great.

So HTC asked a question on Twitter & Facebook about the “new” design of the Sensation.

Personally, I sort of laughed when they said “new”. First off the phone is nice & powerful. The design is old. How many of their phones have that same outter shell & that 3 slanted look on the back. The only difference is the OS & hardware. So many variations of there phones they can’t change much. It should be a line yearly for every carrier. & make it clear that they all are variants of one flagship phone (EVO). Just tiny changes to make it distinctive to each carrier. For example, 3D.

Anyways, I shared my opinion with them on Facebook & 3 people like it. I went to view it & they deleted it. Found that funny. So I commented again. I won’t be surprised if it is gone. I think they took it personal & they don’t want their image bad. I also noticed every comment that was even a little negative or against HTC was deleted. Nothing but positive comments. I find that wrong. Oh, & I like HTC but I was just being honest.

Oh, & the Sense is sweet. I was just talking about the physical design. I hope this port comes to all sense phones like the Evo, Thunderbolt, & other high end devices.

What about that Tweet Taylor mentioned. Sending 20 phones to Android and Me.
