Sprint’s Nexus S 4G gets closer to launch, up for pre-order at Best Buy

Do you like Android in its purest form and surfing the web at 4G speeds? Then the Nexus S 4G from Sprint is what you’re looking for. The phone got one step closer to launch today, with Best Buy launching a pre-order page where you can save one of these “Google phones” for yourself. The Nexus S 4G is $100 more than its T-Mobile cousin, coming in at $199.99 — I guess that’s the price you pay for “4G”. Side note: whatever happened to that free, ad-supported Nexus phone? You can expect the phones to start shipping out between April 18th and April 21st, also known as next week. Any of you guys getting this lovely phone next week?

Check out this new website that provides crazy deals from companies! $70 for a Sony blu ray play? Sure no problem.
We just provide links to the actual company.

    Great device… Keep em coming.

I’d rather get the EVO 3D

I’d rather get a phone that gets updated the week/day that Google announces it. Beats waiting months or having half working, or at best, buggy custom ROMs.

That’s what CyanogenMod is for. I’m sure 7.0 or 7.1 will be out for the EVO 3D pretty quickly.

I know that here in the preorder, tethering is an extra charge, but is it really locked out of the device by default? Is that how it works on T-Mobile?

I’m a Nexus One owner and even the thought of having to switch to AT&T makes me crazy, but the tethering can be a major part of my usage.

please dont do it people… i bought this phone for tmobile and i regret it. first it was the random reboot problem then when they fixed it the phone shuts off on its own. i mean ill sit it down for five mins, look up and ill see my touch sensitive buttons lit up and press the power button and nothing happens. have to pull the battery out to get it back on…. smh if you buy it anyway dont be mad and say you were robbed because your being warned, this phone should not have been released with all these bugs

So, no one should buy the new Nexus s 4g because you had an issue with your Nexus s 3g? Sound reasoning.
