One of the great things about running this site is all the mysterious packages that end up on my doorstep. More often than I’d like to admit, I return home to find a shiny new toy waiting for me. Today, Samsung literally took it to the next step: sending me an actual toy.
Inside a rigid, plain black box labeled Samsung Galaxy S II, I found not a phone, but a chrome telescope. We were trying to figure out if this was even worth a post, but since we hadn’t seen it anywhere else we figured we’d throw it up here and see if the internet super-sleuths can make any sense of it.

All that was included was the telescope (engraved with the logo), a stand, and a card with some simple instructions. Looking through the lens provides some decent magnification but no hidden clue or anything seems to be lurking inside.
It sure was in a nice, non-production box though. I’ll admit I really had my hopes up as I slid the cover off.

Now I’m left asking, what does all of this mean?!
