Midweek Madness: Win one of five HTC swag packs

Update: we’ve got winners! The contest is now closed!

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe today is a Wednesday. And Wednesdays suck. To help ease the pain, we’re back with another installment of Midweek Madness. This week, we’ve got five HTC swag packs, each consisting of a tee, a hat and a hang-your-phone-from-the-wall-socket-while-its-charging kinda thing.

Back in June we were invited to the Uplinq conference in San Diego, where we ran into the HTC team while walking the floor. They gave us some prize packs and told us about HTC Dev, and we went on our way. Fast forward to last week, when HTC officially opened their developer program, and you’ve got perfect timing for a giveaway.

Speaking of perfect timing, if you’ve been following our blog for a while you’ll know we’ve been pushing our And Me Accounts as a great (and free) way to stay connected with our Android community. We recently rolled out a point system (and an alpha Perks page for any users past the 100 point mark), but we’ve been promising bigger plans like members-only contests and special awards for our power-users. Today we dip our toes into that water.

To enter to win an HTC prize pack, all you’ve gotta do is leave a comment on this post. The catch is, to leave a comment on this post, you’ll need to have an And Me Account. Like we said, the account is free, and signing up takes probably all of about 20 seconds. For this first round, there is no point restriction; anyone with an And Me Account can play. If you’ve got one, login and leave a comment below. If you need one, register here.

We’ll let the contest run all night and will contact the winners (which will be selected at random) tomorrow morning. As is often the case with trade show swag, all these shirts are the same size, 2XL (the hat is adjustable, though). This contest is open to Android fans worldwide.

Good luck!

PS: If you are a new user, don’t forget to set a user picture! We want to see you!

UPDATE: the contest is over and since we are a bit late with the announcement, we’ve picked 6 winners instead of the original 5. Check your inboxes! And thanks for playing!
