NVIDIA launches web-front for Tegra Zone, celebrates by giving away tablets

Tegra Zone

NVIDIA has announced today the launch of a new website for mobile gaming at tegrazone.com. The new site resembles the Tegra Zone application found on Tegra 2 devices, but adds some key functionality. In addition to being able to view and purchase Tegra Zone games, NVIDIA has added a community forum for gamers to connect with one another.

According to the press release, the Tegra Zone website provides individuals who don’t yet own a Tegra device a chance to see what they’re missing out on.

Where the site really differentiates itself from the Tegra Zone application is via social sharing. If you happen to find an interesting game or news article on Tegra Zone, you can share it with others via the standard social channels ( Twitter, Google+ and Facebook).

Tegra Zone will also feature NVIDIA sweepstakes where you can win all kinds of cool tech gear. In fact, they’re running an awesome giveaway to celebrate the launch of Tegra Zone. In an order to promote their new site, NVIDIA is giving away five Acer Iconia A500 tablets over the next month.

So if you want to win an Iconia A500, or simply want to check out what NVIDIA’s Tegra Zone site has to offer, head over to TegraZone.com and give it a spin.  Be sure to let us know what you think of the site in the comments.

Update: A few people are having trouble locating the giveaway. It can be found on the community tab.
