The wait is over; the Samsung Galaxy S II has finally landed in the US market! Sprint is the first US service provider to release their version of the phone–the Samsung Galaxy S II, Epic 4G Touch. Good luck remembering that name. And, yes, it officially has a comma in it. You’ve probably already read up on all the specs, watched a commercial or two or even seen our initial hands-on video with the device, so what are you waiting for?
Sprint is selling the Samsung Galaxy S II, Epic 4G Touch for $199.99 with a two year contract, but you’ll need $499.99 saved up if you’re not eligible for an upgrade. If you’re looking for a slightly better deal, the best price we’ve been able to spot online is $149.99 with a two year contract at WireFly.
Leave us a comment below and let us know if you’re planning on upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S II, Epic 4G Touch. We’d also love to hear which phone you’ll be pawning off to your little brother or sister once you get your hands on your new Galaxy S II.
