HTC Rezound shows up in Verizon’s database, LTE and global roaming support confirmed

After a few weeks of silence, it looks like the HTC Rezound (aka the HTC Vigor) is back with a new leak. The latest information on the HTC Rezound comes to us as a picture of Verizon’s device management system, showing the handset name (Rezound), global roaming capabilities and support for Verizon’s 4G LTE network.

HTC Rezound rumors and leaks have been surfacing on a regular basis for the past few months. While we know pretty much everything there is to know about the device, Verizon and HTC still have not officially announced the handset or given us details on pricing or availability. Rumor has it that the HTC Rezound will go on sale on October 20, but we have a feeling that the date might change due to the expected unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus/Prime and Ice Cream Sandwich.

We know a lot of you have cash already set aside for Google’s next Nexus device, but we see no reason why the HTC Rezound shouldn’t do well on Verizon’s network.  If the phone does go on sale in less than a week, it will (at least for a short time) be the best spec’d handset in the world.

Is the HTC Rezound a compelling option for your next handset or is it DOA with the next Nexus device only weeks away?
