Day 9: Win a Lenovo Thinkpad

9-Lenovo-ThinkPad

During our first days of the 25 Days of Tegra, we’ve already learned your names and been introduced to your Twitter account, now it’s time we met you guys face to face. Well, sort of. To be eligilble to win today’s prize, a Lenovo Thinkpad, all you’ll need is a valid avatar (or user picture).

The Prize: Lenovo ThinkPad

Highlights of the device include a 10.1 inch display, a dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 16GB of internal storage, 1GB of DDR2 system memory, a 5mp rear camera, a 2mp front camera, 8.02.11 b/g/n/ Wi-Fi connectivity all under a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass.

Contest Rules

This contest is open to residents of the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia. Entries will be accepted for 23 hours after the contest goes live. We’ll announce the winner on the calendar page and on our Twitter account as soon as we draw.

How to win

To be eligible to enter today, your And Me Account will need to display a valid avatar. With all the new accounts came a lot of questions about setting user pictures, so we figured a giveaway was the perfect push to make sure everyone added an avatar to their account. The good news is we’ve added some new options that makes setting a user picture easier than ever.

The seasoned veteran knows we’ve long used Gravatar, a universal avatar system that a ton of other sites use. If you create a free Gravatar account with the same email, your picture will automatically start to show up here. Gravatar is a neat way to set your avatar once and have it follow you all over the web.

Starting today, we’re also allowing you to use your Twitter avatar. If you’ve got your Twitter account linked to your And Me Account, you’ll be able to check an option on the Edit Profile page that will enable your Twitter avatar for use around the site.

So head on over to the Edit Profile page and make sure you’ve got a user picture set. While you’re there, make sure you check out the big green ‘tweet my score’ button. We might have a little surprise for the tweeters in the crowd coming up soon.

PS: Unlike the other days, you won’t be forbidden from commenting here if you don’t have an avatar set (in case you’ve got a question or need help). When we draw a winner though, we will definitely be verifying that you’ve got a picture set.
