Motorola Droid RAZR HD appears in online tutorial videos

Verizon is expected to announce the Motorola Droid RAZR HD on September 5th, so it’s no surprise that more leaks are appearing as we near its launch. Tonight a series of five tutorial videos appeared on YouTube that feature the Motorola XT926 (aka RAZR HD).

None of the specs were confirmed in the video, but we have a pretty good idea of what is inside this phone. The RAZR HD is rumored to feature a 4.6 inch 1196 x 720 HD display, 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 8 megapixel rear camera, and 2530 mAh battery.

This would place the RAZR HD up against the Samsung Galaxy S III in Verizon’s lineup. Both phones have similar specs, but the RAZR should offer longer usage times thanks to its high capacity 2530 mAh battery and Motorola’s Smart Actions software.

Check out the video below to get a glimpse of the RAZR HD and head over to YouTube if you want to watch the other tutorials. If you are on Verizon, let us know if this device might land in your pocket.

This should be the next nexus with better internals, stock JB/Key lime Pie, 3500 math battery, pebtaband gsm, sold on Google play, and there is one for compatible for every CDMA carrier and one for the gsm

If it was vanilla android I would be interested. Not a fan of Moto’s skin they used on the RAZR.

I’ve been waiting for this for 3 months so my wife can finally pick a new phone…

Or at least I can ask you all, this or S3?

I myself am waiting to see what the Nexus will bring this year. I am sure that both phones will be supported by their respective manufacturers, but I like my updates from Google themselves. After Google stops supporting the devices they usually have a great Dev following/community.

This should be one of the nexus devices if Google finalizes their plan to launch multiple nexus devices with different hardware and different price range, as this will give more choices to user in terms of hardware and pricing with STOCK ANDROID experience as well as guaranteed update of the next android upgrade.

That’s why I love GoOogle and AnDRoiD

If this has motorola’s standard RGBW pentile matrix, they can keep it. I’ve never seen such a terrible display as RGBW pentiles.

Dude, pretty sure this one is gonna come with at least that size battery.

Not a fan of Motorola but this one seems rather interesting. So let’s wait & watch especially when it has 8 mega pixel camera & 2530m Ah battery.

the Razr HD could be a pretty sweet device, as long as it’s not the Razr M they’re set to announce.
