HTC’s 5-inch phablet shows up in Verizon’s inventory system

The rumored HTC 6435 has just made another appearance on Verizon’s device management system, indicating that the handset could make its way to store shelves within the next 2-6 weeks. According to the handset’s GLBenchmark scores which were discovered in early August, the HTC 6435 features a Qualcomm’s MSM8960 Snapdragon S4 Plus paired with an Adreno 225 GPU used to power a 1794 x 1080 pixel display.

The actual size of this device is still unknown, but many are speculating that it is the 5-inch phablet device which was originally mentioned in a DigiTimes report last month. There is also the possibility that the Verizon-bound HTC 6435 will match up with the mysterious images of a black and red HTC phone which showed up a few days ago. DigiTimes reported that the HTC phablet would make its way into thew hands on consumers sometime between September and October – matching up nicely with the HTC press event scheduled for September 19th.

If you were interested in picking up a phablet, would you wait for the HTC 6435 or go for the LG Intuition?
