Nexus 4 spotted in new video, quick start guide, and bar

Today was supposed to be Nexus 4 day, but weather conditions forced Google to cancel their Android event. We are still waiting on Google to announce a new product launch date, but that hasn’t stopped the heavily leaked Nexus 4 from making a round of appearances this weekend.

The highly anticipated device was spotted in a bar by Wired, showed up in a quick start guide on Engadget, and appeared in a breif video on Swedroid.

It feels like we know everything about this device, so we have cut back on the hourly updates of every little minor detail. Hopefully Google will reschedule their event soon and finally unveil the Nexus 4, Nexus 10, and Android 4.2.

Does anyone know what type of SIM card the Nexus 4 takes? Are we able to swap SIM cards from previous 4g phones and not have to worry about changing plans?

I seriously dont understand why every new car looks the same and so does every new phone…

it does look like a flattened out galaxy nexus from the front but the guts are way different. and the new veloster and the focus don’t look like other cars.

Worse, its LG. This means no updates, lies and terrible phones.
LG could team-up with the american traitor Lance Armstrong lol

it’s a good looking phone. would have liked to see the back. but, the dude should have focused more on some of the new 4.2 features.

Snappy phone, blazing fast and cool quick toggles :D

do you like switching over to a second notification panel instead of a slider bar for brightness control at the top on the first notification panel? i prefer a slider at the top of one notification panel.

I think its pretty cool, I like it.

I would have liked the other quick settings better. Double pull down. The more gestures the more fluid the experience. Look at webos and even the imacs. I really hope the playfulness makes it way on board 4.2 or a later release.

      • veracu

yes, a stock launcher with native gesture settings would be dope.

Yes the video is longer and shows us more about the device too.

I’m buying it. You’d be a fool not to.

Google is trying to create a brand with the nexus line, so of course the phone would look similar to each other, The only nexus phone that looked different was the N1.
