I just bought mine, when I checked at 8:35AM, it said I could put one in my cart. Bought the 16 gb, my wife is going to love it (she is moving from a FEATURE phone)!! Merry early Christmas!!!

I’m getting errors every time I try to complete my purchase. I can get the item in my cart but it just errors out when trying to make a payment.

  I had the same error. I never got a confirmation email that my order went through, but I didn’t want to hit purchase twice in fear of being billed twice. I checked my bank account and a pre-authorization of $1.00 is there, but that’s it.

I keep getting an error message that some of you’re mentioning. I’ve tried for the last 10 minutes to order. Oh well… I’ll wait until T-Mobile release date tomorrow since I won’t be getting one though Google Play.

    I can’t believe that the 16GB model sold out so quick! After weeks of waiting, I was all set to purchase today, to ensure that I received one before a long manufacturing delay on the 2nd batch. Instead I tried to purchase the thing dozens of times all to have constant errors refuse to process my order. At times it was showing 2 or 3 in my cart, then 0, then I had to start over again. And I received an error each time it tried to process my order. I’m quite unhappy now.

I kept having to go back and start from the main page. By the time I got back to the cart, I had 3 of ‘em in there. Fixed to only the 1 I wanted, and when I went to pay it tried to sell me 3 again. Started over again ,and now “Coming Soon” again. [insert long line of expletives here]

Well that blew. Been trying for the last 20 minutes since right when they went live. Constants errors. Couldn’t get one. Now the 16GB seems sold out.. Guess I’m gonna be trying my luck with T-Mobile tomorrow.

Did anyone else get an error while ordering but then get an order number, then get charged on their debit but never get a confirmation email? This is where I am at. Of course google has no support. I emailed them and got a form email back that it should ship within 2 days. Still unsure if order went through..

  Update: Finally got my confirmation. Turns out my bank placed a fraud hold on the order and had to clear it with them first. Check your Bank if this happens to you.

I know they are competitors, but Google should get out of the hardware retail business and let Amazon sell their products. Even if it is out of stock, Google should manage expectations by allowing you to back-order their devices. These retail methods are tried and true to maintain customer satisfaction, rather than running their retail side like a bakery which runs out of bread….

Just got a 16GB at 1:22 EST. I think they are doling out a few every few minutes so the servers can handle the transactions without crashing. Keep refreshing and if you see that it’s in stock HIT THE BUTTON IMMEDIATELY. If you wait for the whole page to finish loading they will be gone already.
