Chinese blog posts first review of the Samsung Galaxy S IV

Mar 14, 2013 8

We are still five hours away from Samsung’s big launch event for the Galaxy S IV, but you can break out Google Translate and head over to Chinese blog mobile.it168 if you would like an in-depth preview of what’s coming later tonight. This site has been leaking out pictures and videos of a supposed Galaxy S IV over the last couple weeks, and now they have posted a full review.

Notable details found in the review include Samsung’s use of metal around the sides of the device, the return of the physical menu button (that just won’t die), camera controls borrowed from the Galaxy Camera, a smart remote app (IR blaster?), and a prediction the device will launch in Q2.

Keep in mind we have no way of knowing if this is the final hardware, but it’s still a pretty interesting preview to scan while we wait for the real thing. Head over to the source link and let us know what other goodies you can spy in this review.
