SNL mocks Google Glass

snl-google-glass-630

I watched Saturday Night Live last night and it was pretty bad, but the Weekend Update did make me laugh. Check out tech correspondent Randall Meeks as he shows off the new Google Glass.

That was moderately funny. Thanks for the chuckle.

    That was hilarious!!!

Thanks a lot. You made me watch a long Starbucks commercial only to show, after it was finally done, that this video can only be displayed in the United States!!!

    • Justin

It’s not exactly his fault NBC limits the video to the US. In addition, you are on the internet, you should expect advertisements to be attached to pretty much everything.

Don’t be to worried about it. The commercial I had to watch was better than the video.

    FU too, NBC.

Hotspot shield will get around this. Not that I bothered for this video, but works great for hulu and other US stuff.

    That was hilarious!!!

“Password peacock… peacock… peacock… peacock…. password peacock, peacock. See how easy that was?” LOL…

That was funny but as all things I worry how someone that’s tech dumb is going to look at that. Like well I don’t want to move my head around like that.. I’ll wait for an Iglass product

But I’m on JB 4.2.2. I can’t use flash. Nor do I have a computer.

    Thanks for the small laugh.

  • nope

I saw a burger ad from McDonald’s then an “only available in the US-of-copyright-A”. This is the utopia we all dreamed of in the 1990s.

Yeah, I really expected a better SNL (when will I learn my lesson?!?) w/Zach Galifianakis hosting. The Google Glass bit was ok, got a couple of laughs, especially w/the porn playing, but I wasn’t going to waste anytime watching a second time. Thanks anyway though.

This skinny ass can talk easily behind camera’s. I wont be surprised how crippled he will become if he goes to the outside world for a couple of seconds…

Just wondering, where does a funnier clip spoofing the Glass this effectively exist? This was a valiant attempt at poking fun at a truly over the top geeky product. The elitist high brows are out in full force in this comment thread.

FOAD. Well, aparently it wasn’t funny, but this shit is still retarded.

    The “peacock” part killed me!

  • Anjie Cai

That commercial was great. This SNL clip better not affect consumer demand for the glass… people are stupid enough to believe what SNL says sometimes

  • Paul Atreides

That was good, they could have dedicated a entire skit to Glass though.
