Sony Honami appears next to the Xperia Z for a size comparison

Sony Honami Leak

The Sony Honami hasn’t been a very well-kept secret but that doesn’t mean that we’re not excited for it. It’s shaping up to be a powerful device with a killer camera and today we’re getting another look at the Honami; this time next to its younger brother, last year’s Xperia Z. As can be seen, the Honami is a bit bigger than the Xperia Z but it’s not a large size increase which should please consumers who aren’t looking for a phablet sized device.

In the next few pictures, we get to see a closeup of the camera lens which reveals that the Honami is indeed packing a G-lens and a 20.7-megapixel 1/2.3 sensor. There’s also a size comparison with an iPhone 5 which naturally looks tiny in comparison as well as a couple of pictures showing off the edges of the device. The Honami appears to have a magnetic port on the side which is most likely for charging as Sony’s new Xperia Z Ultra has the same style of port. Those pictures are down below if you want to take a look at them.

Would you purchase a Honami with the rumored camera?

Well, it really driving me crazy. Love the bigger screen and specs. I read on a website that honami is going to support 4k video recording. http://www.digitfreak.com/internet/1926-sony-honami-4k-recording-leaked-promo-material

However, I strongly feel that all the companies are trying to step into the Samsung’s shoes. Manufacturing the budget device and premium bigger one with higher specs at the same time. Its been a trend nowadays.

I can’t wait. It’s between this and the Nexus 5. Of course that’s assuming Sony gets their act together and gets it to the US in a timely manner.

      Ah yes, the Nexus 5.

Bigger dimensions than the Xperia Z with the same screen size is not a good idea, the bezels are to thick for a 2013 Q3/Q4 phone. Make it thicker for bigger battery not Never taller & wider.

How is it that you have the phone when it has yet to even be announced? Those pictures are probably fake bs.
