HTC: Android 4.3 update for AT&T HTC One push set for next week, Sprint HTC EVO LTE update to land by year-end

HTC’s financials may not be doing too well these days, but at least HTC is leading the smartphone industry in releasing Android 4.3 updates for its phones. The Android 4.3 update with the latest version of Sense 5 has been released to unlocked and Developer Edition HTC One in the US, carrier branded HTC Ones in Canada and the Sprint HTC One. Next up is AT&T. Jason Mackenzie of HTC has announced that the Android 4.3 update has been certified for the AT&T HTC One and will be pushed out to handsets next week.

The T-Mobile HTC One is expected to receive the update by the middle of October while the Verizon HTC One will is scheduled to be updated by the end of the month.

Jason Mackenzie also had some good news for Sprint’s HTC EVO 4G LTE owners. The EVO LTE will also be updated to Android 4.3 with the latest version of Sense 5 by the end of the year. We still have not heard anything about the next AT&T HTC One X Android update, but we’re guessing it will drop around the same time as the EVO’s.

The One X+ in Europe is being updated to Android 4.2.2 with Sense 5, but there’s still no word on the US model on AT&T.

AT&T, IF HTC HAS CLEARED, UPDATE ALREADY!!! YOU HAVE ALREADY BEEN BEAT BY SPRINT. GOOGLE IS STARTING TO LOOK GOOFY, WITH DEFRAG, HTC IS HURTING FINANCIALLY, AND YOUR CUSTOMERS HAVE HAD ABOUT ENOUGH!!! T-MOBILE & VERIZON, YOUR NO BETTER. AND ANY MANUFACTURERS, THAT WANNA BE PROFITABLE, START WITH , “WE MAKE PRODUCTS THAT KEEP UP WITH THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY, NOT WHEN IT ACCOMMODATES OUR TIME, RATHER WHEN RELEASED, YOU KNOW….LIKE APPLE”

Like Apple…..where in the blue hell have you been? Apple’s updates take months too, and their update is making people freakin sick!!!!!

Like Apple.. Really? Apple really came out with “revolutionary” iOS7. Great notification center, awesome control center, incredible task manager… Oh wait.. why does it sound very familiar? Just realized.. I have been using these features on my android phone for couple of years. But I still agree, really revolutionary iOS7. Can not beat apple when it comes to make people throw up!!!

Lol good 1, you’re right on the money when it comes to Apple.

I’ve been running stock Android 4.3 on my AT&T HTC One for a while. I got sick of waiting for the update so I converted my phone to the stock Google Play Edition. Haven’t looked back since. Also can’t wait until I get the 4.4 OTA update!

If you rooted your phone to get the GPE, you might not get the OTA, FYI, LOL.
