There’s been quite a bit of confusion surrounding what Google wants to do with their Chrome and Nexus branded products. Are they meant for developers? Is Google looking to make a splash with consumers? Google’s Winter Wonderlabs should help clear that up a bit.

Google has erected holiday-themed Winter Wonderlabs across the United States intended to show consumers the best of Google’s gadgets live and in-person. Present in the Wonderlabs will be Chromebooks, Chromecast and the Nexus 7 for starters. Whether or not the Nexus 5 will make an appearance remains to be seen, but Google Glass will definitely not be there — that’s what Google’s mystery barge is for. Of course it wouldn’t be a Google experience without something fun as well. Along with the gadgets, there will be a giant life-size snow globe where you can play around in CGI snow.

As for where you can find the Winter Wonderlabs, they’ll be coming to New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Sacramento, Washington DC and Paramus, New Jersey. Check out the teaser video for Winter Wonderlabs below, and head to the Winter Wonderlab website for more info. If you end up going, let us know how it is. We’re dying to see one in person.
