Verizon to launch own-brand Ellipsis 7 tablet on Nov. 7

Verizon Ellipsis 7 Android tablet side

Verizon’s lineup of Android-powered tablets will soon grow once again, and while the big red carrier already offers several other slates, this latest addition is different from them all in one big way. That device you see up there is the Ellipsis 7, a new 7-inch tablet from Verizon itself. The Ellipsis 7 is actually the first member of a new line of Ellipsis-branded products from Verizon, though the big red carrier hasn’t yet said what other wares that it’s got planned for the Ellipsis family.

Verizon hasn’t opened up much when it comes to revealing what makes the Ellipsis 7 tick, but we do know that it’s got a 7-inch “HD” display and camera on its face. Also included is 4G LTE connectivity and a dual-core processor. The Ellipsis 7 runs an unspecified version of Android, and as you can see in the product image up above, it’s also got onscreen navigation buttons and Google Play Store access.

The Ellipsis 7 is due to arrive this Thursday, Nov. 7, complete with a price tag of $249.99. If you’re interested in saving a little cash, Verizon is running a limited time promo that’ll knock $100 off the price of any tablet when purchased with a two-year commitment. Whether or not the Ellipsis 7 is worth your hard-earned cash at full price or at that discounted rate remains to be seen, but because it’s the first in Verizon’s line of own-brand Ellipsis products, it’s at least worth taking note of.
