Motorola Migrate updated with support for iCloud transfer

Motorola Migrate is a useful app that comes pre-loaded on many new Motorola devices, like the Moto X, Moto G, Droid Maxx, Droid Ultra and Droid Mini. It lets you transfer your information, like contacts and calender events, from your old phone to your new one. This previously worked only with Android devices, where the app running on two Android devices would establish a direct WiFi connection and transfer the info. However, with the latest update, it’s far more useful.

The app has been updated to version 1.2 and now supports iCloud transfers. Instead of installing an app on your iOS device, Motorola Migrate asks for your iCloud credentials and automatically pulls the info from the internet. Those coming from an iPhone (smart move) will find it a lot easier to make the switch.

It’s awesome that Motorola is making it easier for people to switch over to its devices. But before using it, go to the Play Store and update the app to get all of its newest features.
