Day one of Mobile World Congress has come and gone. There are dozens of new Android devices competing for your attention, but the Sony Xperia Z2 and Samsung Galaxy S5 are the two devices which we think will have the biggest impact on the smartphone landscape in 2014. The basic setup between the two devices are remarkably similar, but there are a few unique hardware features which will be the deciding factors for millions of consumers across the globe. We still have a month and a half before either phone hits the market, so we’d suggest taking a long look at the specs sheet for both to see how they compare to each other and how they stack up against the current competition.
If you’re not that impressed with the Samsung Galaxy S5 or the Sony Xperia Z2, HTC’s replacement for the HTC One will be unveiled in late March. It might be a good idea to keep your options open until we know what all our options are.
