tab47and8aam

Samsung introduced us to its Galaxy Tab 4 family earlier this month, debuting new 7, 8 and 10.1-inch tablets. Now Samsung has revealed exactly when US consumers will be able to buy these latest Android-powered slates.

The Galaxy Tab 4 tablets will be available for pre-order tomorrow, April 24, with a full-on launch scheduled for May 1. Pricing will be set at $199.99 for the 7-inch model, $269.99 for the 8-incher and $349.99 for the big daddy 10.1-inch variant. Here’s what you can expect in exchange for your hard-earned cash:

Galaxy Tab 4 7.0

  • 7-inch 1280×800 display
  • 1.2GHz quad-core processor
  • 3-megapixel rear, 1.3-megapixel front cameras
  • 8GB/16GB storage, microSD card slot
  • 1.5GB RAM
  • 4000mAh battery
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • Optional LTE connectivity

Galaxy Tab 4 8.0

  • 8-inch 1280×800 display
  • 1.2GHz quad-core processor
  • 3-megapixel rear, 1.3-megapixel front cameras
  • 16GB storage, microSD card slot
  • 1.5GB RAM
  • 4450mAh battery
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • Optional LTE connectivity

Galaxy Tab 4 10.1

  • 10.1-inch 1280×800 screen
  • 3-megapixel rear, 1.3-megapixel front cameras
  • 16GB storage, microSD card slot
  • 1.5GB RAM
  • 6800mAh battery
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • Optional LTE connectivity

The Galaxy Tab 4 family may not be quite as high-end as Samsung’s recently released Galaxy TabPRO hardware, but these new Tab 4 models are quite a bit cheaper than their TabPRO siblings. So if you’re on the hunt for a respectable Android slate that’ll be easy on your wallet, you may want to get your credit card out tomorrow morning and order yourself a shiny new Galaxy Tab 4.

I have 2 wishes for Samsung

    1. STOP USING GALAXY on All your devices, GALAXY should be for high end devices only.

    2. Stop using low 16gb on 10.1″ tablets, 32gb only please. (My samsung note will not let you move apps to sd card, No Logic in that)
