Samsung Galaxy S5 Google Play edition and Prime variants get Bluetooth certification

More variants of the Samsung Galaxy S5 are coming, but these are two variants in particular we definitely don’t mind having. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime and Samsung Galaxy S5 Google Play edition models just received Bluetooth certification, both proving their existence and hinting that they will be coming to the market pretty soon.

It’s good to see that the Galaxy S5 GPe is coming. The HTC One (M8) launched at the same time as its Google Play edition brother, so the Galaxy S5 not doing the same worried us. And with TouchWiz not looking very toned down, a stock Android version sounds pretty fantastic.

The Galaxy S5 Prime Bluetooth certification doesn’t offer any details about the device, so specs are currently limited to rumors. It’s rumored to have a WQHD display and a Snapdragon 805 processor, upping the power of the standard Galaxy S5 by quite a bit.

I’m actually pretty excited for both devices to come out, as these variants will definitely appeal to quite a few people. Will you be getting one?
