Toshiba Excite Go features 7-inch display, $109.99 price tag

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything from Toshiba, but today the ‘Tosh ended that silence with a trio of new tablets.

Toshiba today took the wraps off of three new tablet devices: the Excite Go running Android and two Encore 2 models that are powered by Windows 8.1. Here are the spec breakdowns for all three units:

Toshiba Excite Go

  • 7-inch 1024×600 display
  • Quad-core Intel Atom processor
  • 16GB of internal storage
  • microSD slot with support for cards up to 128GB in size
  • Battery life of 7.5 hours of general use
  • Android 4.4 KitKat
  • Full version of OfficeSuite Pro
  • Launching in early July for $109.99

Obviously Toshiba is aiming at the affordable tablet market with its new Excite Go tablet. While its specs aren’t going to blow your hair back, especially that low-res 1024×600 display, these Excite Go could be worth checking out for anyone that’s on the hunt for a new, portable tablet that’ll be easy on the wallet.
