Check your Android phone for Android Wear compatibility

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Android Wear check

Android Wear is now the new thing, with three new devices shown off at Google I/O. In fact, two are already on sale in the Play Store! If you want to pick up a Samsung Gear Live or an LG G Watch, you’re now able to, after doing some research of course. However, is your phone compatible with Android Wear watches?

It’s easy to find out. Just open up your browser on your device and head to g.co/WearCheck. This official site will tell you if your device will be compatible. But if it features Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or higher, it’s compatible and you don’t have to worry. Go out and buy that new smart watch.

LG G Watch and not having to enter my lock screen code anymore… I can’t wait for mine to ship!

I am impressed with the Sam Wear Live, and it is relatively affordable. I just think that the market needs to mature another 2, maybe 3 years. i’m hoping for a very thin watch model like my Skagen watch which is only 0.23622 inches (6mm) thick, (which beats Wear Live by 2.8mm).

They look to be 1 day battery life affairs still, bump that up to a few days at least and they’re looking nice
