Motorola offers replacement Moto X if you break your display in warranty

Owning a Motorola device has been a fantastic experience lately. As the owner of a Moto X, I can say that update times have been fantastic. The Android 4.4 KitKat and Android 4.4.2 updates have come quicker than almost any phones; even the Nexus 4 got its KitKat update later than some Moto X variants. But how does Motorola handle warranty work?

Apparently, if you purchased a Moto X from Moto Maker, you’re covered more than you think. If you happen to crack your display, Motorola is offering a one-time replacement of your device for free! You just fill out a warranty form and you’ll get a new Moto Maker code to create another device and a shipping label to ship your old device once your new one arrives. Of course, you’ll need to be in warranty to pull this off

We found this out thanks to a Reddit user who happened to crack his screen and was surprised that Motorola decided to replace it for free (despite him stating that he dropped it). It’s a very similar service to what HTC now offers in its warranty, but it’s just great that manufacturers are taking care of their customers. Does this make you feel more strongly about Motorola?
