Verizon LG G3 goes up for pre-order, just $99

Verizon LG G3

Verizon has put the LG G3 up for pre-order through its website. As one of the three major flagships for 2014, the G3 has been widely anticipated. US carriers have taken their sweet time releasing it, but it’s finally arriving. Verizon is selling the LG G3 for just $99 on a two-year contract, a surprisingly fair price for a new flagship. If you prefer the Verizon Edge route, then you can get it for $29.99 per month. And, of course, it’s also available without a contract for $599.99.

A few weeks ago, we reviewed the G3 and found ourselves very impressed. As a specs refresher, the LG G3 comes with a 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and microSD card slot, 13-megapixel camera, and of course, that beautiful 5.5-inch 2560×1440 display.

The device ships out on July 17, but you can pre-order at the source link below. The device is available in black and white, though both versions feature not only a Verizon logo on the rear, but also one in the top right corner of the front panel. A poor style choice, but Verizon is generally the gaudiest carrier in displaying its logos.

If you pre-order, let us know!

$599 off contract? Nice, I was dreading a $699 price like some other phones out there.

I ordered mine. Full retail but have noticed non removable battery. Error? Plus, I was able to bundle the lg watch bundle for free. They better honor it.

If it’s non removable I’ll be canceling or returning it.

FYI – Verizon updated the G3 website paage – they removed ‘non removable battery’ in the description and replaced it with ‘Battery: 3000 mAh Li—Ion’. Fingers crossed it will be removable!

    Does it have wireless charging?

    NON-Removable battery?? W-H-Y??????????????

Frustrated. Have tried all day to preorder as an upgrade. About 2 dozen times I have been through the order screens, gone through credit card verification, and then after approval, been told “processing errors.” Chat and phone customer service reps say “phone is not available.” I show them how to get to where THEIR system says it’s available, and they acknowledge that it’s there, but say that since they don’t have an actual release date, I can’t order it as an upgrade. REALLY??? They assure me my credit card has not been charged, even though it went through the verification process. No one on the phone or on chat has an answer for me or can get my purchase to go through, and the in-store won’t do it until day of actual availability. Lame.

I ordered mine on the website early yesterday morning with only one small problem. “Edged Up” but went with 2 year agreement instead of Edge plan again because of the price. Only problem I had was when the G3 was put in my cart, it showed $199.00 not $99.00. Chatted with agent and she said there was a problem with the website for my zip code and she would note my account but I would be charged $99 when shipped. Time will tell……

That’s really a cool deal. LG G3 in just $99 on contract basis. Well, I will definitely grab this offer along with qi wireless car charger to keep its 3000mAh battery fully charged wirelessly in order to explore more apps and features. Thanks for the update.
