Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro is the latest QHD monster

Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro

Lenovo has unveiled its Vibe Z2 Pro flagship, a massive phone with a QHD display. The Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro stands out from others with a 6-inch QHD (2560×1440) display. Such a resolution places it in a class with only a few others, including the LG G3. The Vibe Z2 Pro ‘s display isn’t its only highlight feature, though. The rest of the phone is packed full of the latest and greatest specs that we’d expect from a flagship. Here’s a full rundown of what you’ll find inside the Vibe Z2 Pro:

  • 6-inch QHD IPS display
  • 2.5GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor
  • 3GB RAM
  • 32GB storage
  • 16-megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilization
  • 5-megapixel front-facing camera
  • 4000mAh battery
  • Android 4.4 KitKat with Vibe 2.0 overlay
  • LTE support

In short, the Lenovo Vibe Z2 Pro looks like a hell of a phone with a hell of a long name. We’re unsure about the software, as Lenovo has had not-so-great software in the past, but hopefully this latest attempt will rectify the situation. Hardware-wise, the Vibe Z2 Pro is solid, especially with a metallic design —possibly plastic with a metal finish, it’s unclear — coating the back. The phone will launch in three different color choices: black, titanium and gold. Lenovo is releasing the Vibe Z2 Pro in China next month, with a larger release rumored for later. Pricing isn’t known, but we’d expect it to be comparable to other flagships on the market.
